Title: turkey spurs

Anyone incorporate them in a bow somehow? seems a waste to throw them out.

You can string them like beads and hang them from a bow rack, etc. I have two strung and attached to my quiver. You might also inlay a spur into a riser like I've seen done with elk ivory.

This isn't in the bow, but you can make a wingbone call, then skin the leg an inch or two around the spur, tan it, then wrap around the wing bone. Looks really cool. Worth saving them.

good ideas,
was thinking about gluing them to the back of a bow on either side of the grip. would need to make a bow
that would suit them...hum???

I've used one for an arrow rest, have one on a Hawthorne bow , works just fine.
