Well after so many post explaining failed attempts I'm happy to report a successful build of a maple backed maple R/D. Although even this was not without it's trials and troubles. I had a couple of compression fracatures which I was able to repair with the help of Dean Torges' technique for "Patching a Bow Limb" which you can read about here. http://www.bowyersedge.com/articles.html

Without pics it didn't happen.

I'm with you on that. They're coming. Took some this morning but in my exuberance I didn't realize I was holding the darn thing upside down. Yall standby.

Ya I don't believe it either without pichers.. :)

Nice Bill! Good work not giving up and repairing those fractures.

Thanks BMorv. So far I've put about 3 dozen arrows through it and it seems to be doing fine. Time will tell.

If the previously posted photo link didn't work try this instead. https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipMJKREKSllVNtUfrf1enjGNsff1qlTvhGuVe-Kx
