Title: 2k Clear for finish
Post by: Kamn on March 15, 2017, 11:24:00 AM
I have been sifting through the PAGES of info here to see if anyone has used a 2K clear for their finish on a bow but have found nothing so far or my eyes are really bugged out and I missed it.
Has anyone tried it?  2k Clear from Spray Max for example

I used the search function for "2K Clear" and found one thread about 2K Clear from Eastwood? The guy said it was $27 per can but he liked it.

I brought up the "found a hard finish" thread for you. It looks like some guys like the VHT spray can finish.

I saw that, Thank You

Was hoping there were a few folks using the 2k stuff and maybe had pics and longer term results or opinions.......the stuff is really durable and tough

I tried 2K on several bows and it didn't do well on the limbs. It is plenty hard but over black glass it turned chalky looking where the limbs bend. I stripped it off and went back to urethane.
