I'm I with you. I live in West Cenral Ohio. A blizzard today. Where is Spring?
maaaan in done with the vegas heat! bout 72 right now, some 12 inches of snow would be awsome right now!
Very funny DeadPool, try haveing snow up to your, you know what, for 5 to 6 months.
Ya, I'm just laying around the pool lol.
Just funnin with ya Deadpool.
If they call this globle warming, I have news for them lol.

I am in NE Ohio and have about 20" on ground and more coming... this is not funny anymore. I am going to find that woodchuck and settle that score with a Bear Razorhead... six more weeks of this!!!
I live in central Nebraska and pretty much had enough of this winter stuff. Have to add that I love the snow, but this cold weather has become a real pain in the knees as well as the arse.
Time for some nice weather until next seasons rut!
I'm with ya' boys. Been shoveling "global warming " all day. Maybe Al Gore can come over and lend a hand.
oh man im burnin up here in my backyard!!
i really could use a snow cone!!
Hehehee...! Come on spring! Hey Flint and Fred, I saw the first sign of spring here in Central Illinois yesterday...gas prices went up 30 cents in a matter of minutes...
Yep, here too Kevin. Just like milk and bread, folks load up on the juice fearing the world is coming to an end. Of course now most of them have a car with a full tank sitting in a snow drift.LOL.
Sorry fellas, not with ya' on this one. I love snow! Did I mention I'm a school teacher?
It has cut into my practice sessions a good bit. Gotta get theat pole barn up so I can shoot inside!
I say we road trip to Nevada and take deadpool a load of snow. Bring your favorite bow.
Spring? Wassthat?? Here in Nove Scotia we get 6 inches of snow then it HAS to change to freezing rain, just to make driving that little bit more interesting. Then after several hours of that it then changes to rain. Usually about 30 mm. Than after all that then it freezes. Oh what joy. Spring. CAN'T COME QUICK ENOUGH AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I think I need to get Deadpool up to North Dakota for our winter hunt. Maybe the weekend when it is -20 and 2 feet of snow on the level. I think I could change his thin blooded mind in a hurry LOL !!
I'm with you too. I just spent 10 days in Texas, and it was great!!! Flew into Detroit yesterday, and had to spend $217.00 to rent a car to get home to Erie,PA. They told me I couldn't get a flight for 2 1/2 days. Gotta love the airlines. Can't wait for spring.
Bill
North of Anchorage and its been 40 plus for days. Most of the snow is gone and we have continued the snowshoe slaughter. It's our first breakup but winter will be back.
"Snowshoe slaughter" asks Steve H. who is getting ready to temporarily move to Anchorage......?
I with ya. Shoveled our walk then went over and made sure my mom could get out.
We have drifts everywhere the roads are all snow covered.
Ready for warmer weather.
I'm back and I agree with you. Time to get deadpool away from the casinos and out into the great outdoors.
What does snow look like ?
Manny, it looks like this:
Only it's colder.
I am with buckeye hunter on this one. I am hoping that they can't get all of the snow out of downtown Columbus and I can have a 3 day weekend. One of the perks in being a teacher.
You guys remeber snow days- don't you?
merf
I hear ya! I love the snow but I'm read for some nice warm practice sessions. I'm headed to a 3-D shoot today in 15 inches of fresh snow. On second thought who am I kidding. I'm looking forward to the adventure of this one.
SOrry to hear that guys. we got about two inches of snow here in MS friday night, the first "big" snow in long long long time, and it was all gone by lunch time. I am going crappie fishing today!!! woo hoo
You guys think you got it bad I picked up the 60" whisperstik demo bow on Friday afternoon. Cant shoot indoors and have 16" plus about a 2 foot drifts between house and target aaaagh.
It's no biggie, you just have to make a path to the target. :-)

If you can find the target lol.
Snow, another dirty 4 letter word lol.
All ready had ours for the winter.Dang near a half an inch.Lasted all of 16 hours before melting. :bigsmyl:
YEP...Can't wait ta see the ANTLERS on my 3D Deer POP through the S-N-O-W (http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d171/IronBull_/Smileys/hair-1.gif)
lol even in mount charlston which is a 30 mintues drive from my house has a few inches of snow!
and the weather up there is above 30!
I think Deadpool should come around and shovel for us! :saywhat:
Since SteveH didn't give a weather report, I will. Rain! At least I don't have to shovel it, and it is making quick work of our snow.
I did take advantage of the situation by going over to his house for a little show 'n tell. I brought over my new Assenheimer, and he showed me all his bows, completed and works in progress, and his many critter mounts, horns, antlers, sculls, etc. Was an enjoyable evening.
Thanks, Steve. You helped get me through one day of winter!
Making lemonade from lemons. Huck and I exploring our hunting area earlier this morning.

Man, Send it to Hershey, PA! This has been the winter that wasn't. All season, we've had nothing but rain, freezing rain, ice storms like I've never seen, a couple of 1.5" teaser snows, freezing rain, and more rain. Literally, we have not had enough snow to break out our cross-country skiis or to take our kids sledding even once. The only real snow I've seen in PA has been, ironically, manmade snow at our local Ski Resort. Thank Heavens we took a snowboarding trip to Colorado this year, or we'd have forgotten what real, "real" snow looks like!
I grew up in No. East Ohio so I can relate to that weather. Hang in there; before long you will be complaining about the humidity.
It was 77 F hear in Fallbrook and the sky is clear. We are now behind a bit on rain and I hope we get some more this month or we will have to ask Bjorn and the No. Cal. folks to send us some more.
SNOW DAY! They Called off school for Columbus!
Merf
It was over 60 here today, shot the bow a lot today, Sun shinning, no jacket, just a long sleeve shirt, sweated a little!
Deadpool, I have two feet of fun in my back yard. You can come up here and play in it if you want. youbetter hurry though the temps are going up next week and it won't last long. You can even shoot that new bow if you want. You may as well leave that JD berry here though, since you won't be needing it any more.
lol sorry laddy but that jd has already been called on!!
haha!!
that's Okay I am still breaking in my Pierce Point Robertson. and I have a yew on the way. I was just wondering how good you would be at chopping ice, my drive way has got two inches of it under the snow that I haven''t shoveled. I have a traditional shovel and spud bar, no carbon in either one, straight grip on both.
GingivitisKahn, I think you are going to need a yellow target with all that snow. Or more dogs.
we got 16" over the weekend.....
that put us over our yearly average of 101 inches at the airport, but we always get more than the airport. COME ON SPRING!
Bowferd - probably right. :-)
Her in Canada we have 4 seasons, early winter, winter, late winter, and pothole season
enjoy it while you got it, everyone will be complaining about the heat and bugs soon enough.
:thumbsup:Trapper
Went out shed hunting yesterday - too much snow - but the deer trails were easy to walk on! Came across two young guys walking the ice age trail and had spent the night in 10F weather. Nice kids and had a good time as I was invited to share their fire.
No sheds but I did see a chimunk sitting on top of 10-14" of snow and he looked way outta place!
You just got to redirect all that energy....

artwork is compliments of my 6-year old daughter
I only have woodstoves for heat and bringing in wood every morning is getting old.
Snow? Come up here to Manitoba and we'll teach you a few things about snow, and cold for that matter.
According to the calendar spring begins in March - so we Manitobans hear and laugh about, just as we do the fact that winter supposedly doesn't start until late December.
Unfortunately mother nature doesn't agree with these dates and seems to have a strong preference for snow and cold.
