So I hang my bows by a small bolt screw that is threaded into the riser on the site window ( hole gets covered by the leather rest after). My issue is thought that when I spray with my HVLP the bow swings all over the place and is pissing me off. Looks like **** cause it bounces and spins and is super hard to keep the bow under control.
What does everyone else use? Tips? Hints? How can I keep this thing under control??

Try using two lines from different points on the ceiling(or whatever you hang from).

Maybe use a,piece of all thread. To make a solid connection.
I hang from a loop connected to the ceiling and on the string groove on one limb. Still swimgs in circles but easier to control.

I feel your pain! Lol. That always drove me nuts as well. Now I use a stiff but shapable wire (clothes hanger) to form a solid connection to the I-bolt used for hanging. Works great for take down risers. I'd think you could do something similar with a one piece, but maybe add a second fishing line around a string groove and alternate ends between coats. Also, the shorter the fishing line used, the less swing you'll get. Use another solid wire with only an inch or two of fishing line around the string groove. Be sure to use a loose, but snug slip knot in the fishing line.

Attach a 1 x 1 board to the ceiling and run it down about 4 feet. Drill a hole in the bottom end of the board to run the bolt through it and into your riser.
I made a stand that sits on the floor. It has a 1" x 4" board on top that pivots from side to side and stays in place when swung to either side. That pivots the bow 180 degrees so I can spray both belly and back. I attach the bow in the center of the handle with a hose clamp. That area gets covered with a leather grip when done so that doesn't affect anything. You could make a stand and attach the bow with a bolt in the riser threaded hole.

Got a picture of that Roy? I think I can visualize what you are describing...but with my little pea brain.

Nice Roy, if I just had a dust free space for this.
Think this spring I might make a add on for my shop for spraying.

Sweet. Thanks Roy. Im gonna whip up a version of that. I'll post a pic this afternoon

put a jam nut on it.

Mac I spray in my garage. I hose down the floor and mist the air with water, then wait an hour to spray.

Thanks Roy - not exactly what I was thinking. I am going to make one of those up before my next finish.
