We just recently moved and I am fortunate enough to have a hardwood shop right up the road that stocks all kinds of exotics. I ran across a makore board today that had some super straight grain. Has anyone had any luck making an all wood bow out of makore?

If you look on the wood database site
http://www.wood-database.com
it seems that makore has similar, but slightly weaker, properties to hickory.

That was the first place i checked. I saw several people using it as a riser or a veneers. Just wondering if anyone had tried it. They guy at the shop said it sent him to the ER once while cutting it, due to allergies.

I know a guy works with all kinds of wood.
He daren't go to his own shop when they are working with ipe and a couple of the guys working there get days off depending on the wood they are working on, even with some high-end dust extraction in place.
Wood and allergies seems to be a bit of a crap shoot.
Go carefully.
