Anyone know where to order plans for a 50's style recurve?

Certainy worth the read, just for a better understanding of what it takes to make a bow.

Any benefits for having the limbs straight and not deflexed like modern recurves?

Interesting, I made a Bow very close to the one Kenny shows in his post using the same plans. the  riser is a bit short for the long straight limbs, the bow shoots fine but there is more shock for a recurve than I like. The bow is also a little long for a recurve with the long limbs to short riser, I think a longer riser for that length would be less shock or shorter limbs.
