Ok So I would like to build a glass longbow. I have made alot of self bows but never a glass bow. I would like to do a 50#@28" hill style bow 64" ntn. I would love to make it narrow like a Bear Montana long bow, but am flexible about this. I want to post as I go like a build along but I'm hoping you guys could help me figure this out as I go because I have no experience with these kinds of bows. So first I guess would be the form. Is there simple 2x4 or 2x8 flat form I could make? Also I believe I can get laminations from 3rivers. Does somebody have a list of the lams I would need? I am also flexible on what woods I use. And maybe a template for a riser block? Thanks in advance for any help or advise you guys can give. I hope to post pictures as I go although it may be a slow process!

Check out binghams projects for supplies. They carry glass and laminations of all kinds. Even have some charts for lam stacks and such.
