Finished this about an hour ago.
Was trying for 50# - came in at #47 - I had to get rid of a bit of twist in one of the limbs and by the time I did and evened out the limbs, #47 was it.
Still happy with it.
Can't wait to shoot it, but right now it's -20ยบ with the wind chill and snow forecast for later.
Maple backed Ipe with Shedua riser and tips. Handle has an accent of Maple.
Need to make a new string for it - I just used one I had lying around.

Hill style bows are cool, good job. Is that bow 68NTN...?

Very nice. Congrats!

Nice bow! It seems that the backing is thicker than the belly. I'm interested in making a simmilar bow, can you add some specs?
-
Bow is Maple backed Ipe.
Started out with the belly being thicker than the back when I glued it up (Titebond 3) - ended up with belly being very slightly thinner after tillering.
Was trying for #50 but I had a bit of twist in one limb that I had to get rid of - ended up #47 @ 28"
69" NTN
Handle is Shedua with an overlay of maple - tip overlays are Shedua.
Doesn't weigh much - less than a pound and a half.
-
Forgot to add -
1.25in wide at the fades - 7/16 thick at the end of the fades down to 3/8 at the tips which are very slightly over 3/8 wide.
