Title: Riser limb pads
Post by: Alvey on December 10, 2016, 12:39:00 PM
Working at designing a three piece TD 14" riser with 62 or 64" limbs. generally how far do the limbs over lap the riser pads where the bolt and alignment pin are?

I have built two 3 piece bows (all wood) and use a 3 3/4".   My PSE recurve has a 3 1/2" riser pad. I think some guys build using a 4" pad.

I use 4" on my 15",17", and 19" riser and 3.5" on my 13" risers.
