All maple wood with Glass backing.
This is my first attempt at a 2 piece hinge style. I used a stainless marine hinge, I know it is back wards, but on a good note my fore finger rests above it. The hinge is also wide. On the next one I will grind it down so I can get close to center shot.
All in all it turned out quite well other than the fact the Bow is only 35# @66". In my opinion this is better than an FG handle you dont have to fight it, to pull it apart,........ it merley collapses like a wet noodle.... :)
Sorry no full draw or braced pics. Bow shoots well over 150 arrows thru it so far.

Pretty Cool Bro... Dual purpose also... :)

Nice to see someone using this ancient idea with modern materials. Most of the hinged bows historically weren't much, if any heavier draw than 40-45#.
Here's a picture of an Ottoman folding bow and matching quiver from the 1600s(?).

Those Olde Tyme guys; especially those bowyers east of say Germany/Italy were really high tech long before Europe caught on to things. They were creating high-tech composite bows for a thousand years while Europeans and English were still making self-bows.
