I build and donate a lot of kid's arrows but the cost of feathers is killing me. If anyone has odd feathers left over, any length, style or color they would like to donate to a good cause, they would be appreciated. PM me and I will forward my mailing address.
Thanks a lot,
James

James, If you can process full length secondaries, I have a few I'd be willing to part with. I'm sure I have some odds and end lying around also. Can you use plastic vanes? Have some of them that I'll never use.

I also have many vanes I could donate. I'll have to check on the feathers.

I usually buy ready to use feather fletchings, but I've experimented with goose feathers (I need to make myself a burner) and made a dozen really simple, self-nock, arrows using feathers I bought in bags at the local dollar store. I've shot them probably 8 or 9 times now. They fly pretty well, IMHO.
Bound with cotton sewing thread sealed with super glue.
