Title: Bacote katalox
Post by: breazyears on August 16, 2016, 11:58:00 PM
Made a couple of risers out of katalox and bacote. I love the contrast. The lims will be macassar ebony. I found an exotic wood supplier abot an hour from my house.

Damn, how much did that set you back? I love those dark woods, especially macassar ebony, but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much, especially when I haven't even built one successful bow yet. Looking forward to seeing the finished product though, those risers look amazing

You can see the finished bow if you do a search for "twins almost", or"finished" in this forum. Or you can look in my profile.
Thanks for the compliments.
