anyone used eastern red ceader under glass in a bow? Would love to see some pics before i go ahead with it.

I have no pictures but it is awesome. I just built a cabinet door out of ERC and it's sharp.

I believe Dave Johnson uses it exclusively in his Hill style longbows.

I used aromatic red cedar in my trade bow this year. It should give you an idea of what it will look like.

It is beautiful wood. I remember one that Mark Smeltzer posted a while back. It's the second one from the bottom.

If you ask me? Its one of the prettiest under glass. And, it darkens rather quickly so your mind thinks it has a new bow every year :)
