Fine looking bow. What is the handle overlay made of, can't quite tell from the pics.

No overlay on the handle....another scrap of snake skin....

I just started a 64" osage bow. I'm hoping for 55-60#'s and was wondering if I was pushing the limits of the log. You give me hope, thank you!

Can I ask how wide are the limbs? I have a crack almost down the middle of the sap wood right now. Haven't gotten further than that and if it goes all the way through my widest point, near the handle, will be 1 3/4". Hoping that's enough width.

1 3/4" at the fades about 5/8" thick...good luck! Take pics and share!

Thank you for the specs!
