Stabilized with brown dye. Penetrates the wood completely except for the most dense parts. This makes the grain really pop.

Pardon my ignorance, but is the bow only finished with the juice? It sure looks glossy enough,looks very good.Like the Maple too. :thumbsup:

Cactus juice is a stabilising resin. You can add dyes to it too.
That has sure turned the maple is something a bit more eye catching.

That riser has 3 coats of a vinyl sealer. That will get sanded and top coated.
