hi all,
i have build a glass recurve recently and came out little less in poundage than pre-assumed.
how do you think i can increase the poundage of this bow? when it comes to long bow, shortening the bow like half or one inch on limbs can help but i can not be sure about recurve.
thanks for your help.

You can laminate another piece of glass on the belly of the recurve and bring the weight up. .030 glass would get you about 10-15# depending how long the bow is.

i guess adding new layer of glass is not an option to me since i applied finish over it already. first i need to remove the finish and glue it... hmmm do not know...
maybe cutting 1 inch from both ends will help. if it does not then i can go for adding layer.
