Title: just built an elephant slayer

Hi all, today i strung a new bow for the first time struggling a lot and almost wetting my pants. This thing pulls at least 80 to 90 I am guessing, maybe more.

It's been awhile since I made a bow so most of the knowledge seems to have evaporated and something must have gone wrong when planning for lam thickness...

I'll be at the belt sander for the next couple of hours LOL

Sounds like that bow is going to fat camp! Let's see some pictures when she is done.
