Where can I purchase action boo for making core laminations?
-
Bingham has it, I think up to 1/4".
-
Troy Breeding on here.... Has it already tapered, plain and amber.

I've had really good results with Troy, and his prices are good. OMC and Big Jim are other sponsors that are good options.
-
Northwest bamboo for planks.
-
Yep - can't go wrong with Troy.
-
Troy's prices look good.
Kenny can you elaborate on which to buy. I'm kinda cut my own type guy.
May also buy from Troy if nothing else to use as guide.
-
I buy stair riser 3/4" x 8" x 6'.
I kinda like the brown mostly for the color over natural.
-
Rosewood Archery
-
Kenny is the horizontal better than the verticle grain?
-
The natural or carbonized Vertical riser. I took Kenny's advise and got some. They are great to work with and the stuff is fantastic. Easy to cut and shape and keep straight. Like working with it more than maple.
-
If you can grind your own get some good grade bamboo flooring and resale and grind.
-
Vertical is what you want, good thing about the stair riser is no finish(tell him that)to dull blades and no cutout on back. The full thickness is useable.
-
Thanks all.
-
When I go to Troy's web site it doesn't fit well with my Ipad.
Can not see where to contact him.

I haven't seen Troy on here for a while, hope he's doing ok.
-
Hawa Bamboo flooring, more bang for the buck. One carton: 6 ft unfinished vertical flooring 5/8 thickness delivered $120.
-
Roy just got a quick reply and a pair of lams in last week.
-
What kind did you get and do you like them?
-
I got the .004 verticle bamboo.
Look good. Won't get to use them till later in March.
-
Dale Stahl has it in any size you want and lots of other bow making materials.
-
I'm still here. Just got too many irons in the fire to do much posting.
