There sure has been a lot of interest in this style of bow on here lately. I started this one last month and just finished it. It's bamboo and osage with a maple core and curly maple handle, 66" tip to tip.

Nice work. :)

I guess it's ok... :)
Very nice Greg, tiller looks perfect and I love the grip. Been wanting to do one like that for a while now. Where did ya get the leather strips?
-
Thanks, Bue. I really liked the one with the white oak belly lam you posted last month, turned out beautifully.
Thanks, Roy. Guess I'm getting better at copying yours. :)

That bow does rock! Nicely done.

Thanks T.O. and Ben. It's much appreciated :)

You have got the tiller dead on. The wood combo is very nice too.
The only thing i'm not keen on is the way you have the fades blending into the limbs. A bit angular? I prefer to have the fades curving into the limbs.

Thanks Mike! I have to admit that it's still a struggle for me to get the fades blended into the limbs and still have the offset grip that I like. I guess I'm not there yet, but I am making progress. You should see the handles on my first few bows. Yikes! :)

Here's the belly view of the handle. This is as much as I'm ever going to round one. I really do like the grip to be somewhat rectangular. Just fits my hand better.
