I have a Blackhawk Mosquito bow from my youth 1960's.
It has a "marble" looking fiberglass. Does anyone make fiberglass that has that appearance.
I would like to make a recurve that looks similar. It also had glue on knocks.
It almost looks like Formica Has anyone ever used Formica on a build. I'm just curios if this has ever been tried? :dunno:
Would sure make for some interesting looking bows.
What are you guys thoughts?

I have built several bows using formica as an experiment instead of fiberglass and everyone failed. The formica actually broke because it could not handle the stress but did make a beautiful bow for a while.
