Guys like you just piss me off. My first bow looked nothing like that. I definitely wasn't willing to take pictures of it.
Well done!
-
Nicely done on your first bow! Kenny M is one top notch dude... But your missing the key picture here.... FULL DRAW!... What are the specs on this thing too?
-
Looks like a shooter, nicely done!

I had a few hiccups along way but I learned a lot. I hope to start on my second one very soon.
It is 65" ntn (because I layed my template out on the wrong side of the bow) and around 48# at 28"
Thanks guys for the kind words

Great job especially for your first bow!
-
really good!! and those glue lines look pretty tight too
and like tree top boy said- my first bow didnt look that good- stellar job!
if i can offer one slight improvement- it would be in the arrow shelf and sight window area- if the arrow shelf was kinda humped cup/ curved up so that there is a high point so that the arrow only contacts with a small area, and i do the same on the sight window- it has a convex shape to it, so that only the high point is contacting the arrow.
make sure that both high points correspond with each other- and what i try to do, is get the high points just above the deepest part of my grip- so its NOT the center of the shelf or the window- that helps to be a bit more forgiving in the case of a poor grip or hand position on occasions- now i never have that problem of course- all my shots are perfect- just what i have been told

Thanks again for kind comments.I owe it all to the info I have received from this forum. I really appreciate all the build alongs they were invaluable for filling in all the gaps in the bow making process.
