What are you guys using to mark your bows after you have finished them?

Indian ink. It works a treat and you can get it in any colour. The modern acrylic alternatives work as well.

Sharpie paint pen. Fine tip.

You'd be well advised to only use this if you're going to spray a finish over it. The rubbing on of a fIrish over it will wipe it on off if you're ire not careful.

For those using Sharpies what do you when you use black glass? Mark on the riser?

Don't! Use white Indian Ink!

Careful with sharpies as they are known to fade even if finished over.

Mikkekeswick, have you had issues with white indian ink?

I use it on some dark bows although some guys don't like the white writing...I think they think it will scare the deer that might be looking over their shoulder  :)

I haven't had a problem with the white that I'm aware of yet.

Acrylic ink has worked well for me, get it at Michaels.  Not as many colors as India but, seems to work better  for me.
