I am wondering if anyone has any experience with removing rustoleum from a bow? I would like to be able to remove it without messing with the 2 part epoxy finish if possible..
any help is greatly appreciated.

WD 40 should do it. Spray some on and use scotch brite.

There are some ECO safe strippers available that are citrus based. These strippers usually do not mess with the glue-up.

If the glass was left glossy prior to painting it you should be able to scrub hard with steel wool and get most to flake and peel off. I know WD would do it, but that makes me nervous regarding the finish, and maybe the glue lines. Its quite a potent chemical.

If you must keep the epoxy finish You could use 320 grit dry until you see it getting most of the paint off then wet sanding the areas where paint is still present until it is gone. depending on how many coats of epoxy you have there is still a chance of rubbing thru it.
