After a good search, I finally received my Left Handed 1962 Kodiak Magnum bow. I love it!
It is 55lb and I am finding that it is WAY too heavy for me.
I know that its been asked here before and I did do a search but I would appreciate any comments that you fellas may have with who you would use to do the draw reduction as well as a refinish job...hopefully with a quick turn around time too:)
I did call and email John at the Bow Hospital yesterday so I am waiting to hear back from him as well.
I am hoping for a 10lb reduction but I guess I will see what happens.
Thanks Fellas!

Serious Mark? I didn't think that Bear Archery had a custom shop.
You prefer Bear over an independent shop?

Bow hospital will give you good advice, wait for their reply. In the mean time start shopping for a lighter one! ;)

"In the mean time start shopping for a lighter one!"
Good advice, 10% is about all I would want to do on mine, and that is 18%. Still, I'd ask the Bow Hospital and see what they say.

Thanks Fellas!
John from the Bow Hospital called me last night and about 1 minute into the conversation I knew that I found the right guy! Wow...what a nice guy. Spoke for about 1/2 hour and learned allot.
My bow is already on its was to BH so I'll post pics when its done. He told me that 10% reduction is about average, and that even that much will make a big difference.
He will also be refinishing the bow with correct decals, etc so I am really excited about it!
