He took a trip to Iowa and came back with some big old pieces of scrap wood. But it's Osage!

About 2" thick, now what shall I do?

Well, doesn't look like that's gonna yield any self bows, so I'd start cutting lams! For backed wood bows if that's your bag, or thin lams for glass bows.
Take only the cleanest straightest grain Osage for backed wood bows. That was Roy's advice to me a few weeks back. The more swirly grained areas will make nice risers ....

I do build bows and I'm seeing several lams and risers in there.

That is a sickening clean and organized workshop. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Nice bows though, I like the white glass.
