Title: Ben Pearson All American Recurve question
Post by: LoneWolf on February 08, 2007, 08:02:00 AM
Quick question, maybe somebody has this info for me.  My neighbor has a Ben Pearson All American Recurve: AMO=64", 35# @ 28",  I made him a new string for it and want to make sure I have it right.  Anyone know wha the brace height on this bow should be?  When I strung it up, I came out with a 7.25" brace height, just wanted to make sure I was in the right ball park before I served the string.  I emailed Pearson Archery to see if they could help, but no word yet.
His son recently became interested in archery and got a small Bear recurve, I built him a string so they could shoot together.  Making him a stringer and got 8 arrows that should shoot good for him to get him back in shooting.  Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

7 1/4" sounds a little low (to me) probly more like 7 1/2 to 7 3/4.

Shoot & Twist - Shoot & Twist - Shoot & Twist, You'll get it

Bow shot sweet at 7.25 actually yesterday afternoon.  Finally found a set of arrows that will shoot for the guy.  He has already invited my son and myself over to shoot.  Finallizing it this afternoon and getting back to him tomorrow.  Now if I can just find that thread on the wool yarn silencers again, wanna see just how he installed his.
Thanks again.
