Has anybody made a bow like this?
How do they perform ?

I've built a couple of bows with a double recurve (the 'set-back' riser) and they're some of my favourite. Bit less forgiving to shoot but fast and satisfying.

The Chekmate Longhorn is a similar design and there's a guy who does adjustable weight bows that aren't dissimilar. Give it a shot! At the very worse you walk away with a bit more experience.

Reflexed handle designs increase string angle earlier meaning they store less energy than a bow with 'normal' profile limbs.
