Hello all,
If any of you guys have a connexion hinge laying around or know where i can buy one please let me know. Condition doesn't matter as long as the hinge part is complete.
Thanks,
Dave

Ace broadheads now makes and sells a great hinge.

Thanks so much! I will check them out right now.

I have a couple old door hinges laying here, I can build you one, Dave..

I looked at their site did not see any mention of hinges.

If you can use one...that bolt setup that Dick uses on his new Wolfer bow is the best take down mechanism I have ever seen or used for ease of use and also how secure and stable it feels.

Bob does not have them listed on his web site yet. He is currently making them for a couple of Bowyers one of which is Northern Mist. You just need to call him. I saw them at the KY tradfest it is a great system

Spoke with Bob at Ace today. He is definitely making the hinges. He also made a few changes over the Robertson version....sounds very good. Thanks again David for the info.
-
Just finished up a 2 pc. using one of the Ace hinges. I actually prefer this design over the original Robertson one. If anyone is looking to build a hinged takedown, I recommend getting in touch with Bob.

Could you post a picture of your completed bow with the hinge?
-
Cameron, you should have a lot of pictures of bows with hinges in them.. LMAO

Dave sent over some pics of the Ace Hinge and I am posting them for him...
Roy...my "hinged" bows function as high end boomerangs now...I was thinking of selling some to you as a new thumping stick for those on your thumping list. :D

Make sure to a high quality screw on those hinges...they have been known to pop heads off lesser screws.
-
Yep, I got the best screws I could find. I ended up using Lawson Supertanium serrated screws. They were expensive, but luckily the company I work for "needed" them for a job. ;)
-
So when you buy the Connexion Hinge does it come with screws and you upgrade or does it not come with quality screws?
-
The Ace hinge does not come with any...you need to furnish them. However, 50 was the minimum order quantity for the ones I have, so I have more than I can use if anyone needs some.
