Title: Cut out some curly Koa
Post by: BrushWolf on April 03, 2015, 03:48:00 PM
Got a little start on this one today. It's cocobolo and curly koa. I dampened the koa to try and see what the grain and curl looks like. It looked pretty good and should darken up nicely.  I've got to cut out wedges and overlays yet.  More to come later.

As a guy that tries to play guitar koa has been on of my favourite woods for along time! That will be a sweet bow!

I have two bows with cocobolo and curly Koa, with black accents and water buff tips! It's one of my absolute favorite combos. Nice work! And happy Easter.
