Hi Guys, as I start my second bow a friend of mine put me on to the idea of using 5/8 x 3 3/4 Morning Star vertical Natural Bamboo flooring boards as his limb lams. He would cut several strips out of this floor board for his tapers and parallels. BUT, now the store (lumber Liquidators) is no longer carrying this item anymore so I can't get it! do you guys have any other suggestions for me to use in place of this floor board? he was able to make several bows out of just one length of this board. What would be a good replacement OR what do you guys use? Thanks, I'll sit back and watch the thread..Pat

Same here. I really like working with this stuff. The vertical stair treads. It cuts and sands better than maple IMHO.

Pat...........
I bought some vertical and horizonal bamboo baseboards a Lumber Liq. some time back. They were 6' long 3 1/2 wide and 5/8 thick. And you can buy just one. You can also buy unfinished vertical flooring at Hawa Bamboo Flooring. The horizonal bamboo works just a well and is easier to find.
