cant see mark- but did it break right where your spruce overlays ended- maybe then the insert cores- faded in nicely might help more

That's a boatload of reflex. Bet it's fast ... And scary to string.

Very interested to keep seeing the evolution of see extreme static tip bows.

Nicely done cross-over between modern cutaway handle and ancient Manchu string-bridged design.  Personally I'd like one without the modern "prosthetic" grip   :deadhorse:   ...

interresting  nocks mate- but they would make me nervous- scared the string would fly off- totally unfounded though- just very different.
how did the cores work out for you. a little bit trickier to layup, but seems to work well
cheers
wayne

what are the dimensions of that bow-
length when strung
length of statics
and angle of statics.

i found that the one i built was really stacking the last 2 inches of draw for my draw length- i am going to have to build a slightly longer bow now for my DL.

The string is 58" so close to that , the static's are 7-3/4" to the nock I wanted 8.
Un strung the angle is 12 degrees past vertical toward the grip.
The reflex is from the nock's to the back of the riser 8-3/4" 10-1/2" to the grip

The sheepeater bow should draw to 30"
what's your draw?

I don't like the hose on the back of the bow but I could not figure the riser with power lam.

This is the blank riser NO lams
I'am changing the riser, the belly stack is going threw the riser, then 1/4" stack of glass and wood plus more wood for the grip and sight window
It's like a take down riser and the limb butt wedges out past the riser. I think it will work

cool!!!

thats how i did my riser- did it first on a kenny m- and really liked it- and did it on the recurve too.- makes the layup quite easy- except for the extra work feathering in the stack on top of the glass- but its worth it i think.

Did some shooting today
28# @ 28" 186 fps average, 289 grain arrow

also shot my 25# T/D static recurve at 182 fps average

The 2-1/2" more reflex did not do much, a lot more unstable
