Title: Caught a big ol Mulberry stump and split it......
Post by: highpoint forge on February 27, 2015, 05:05:00 PM
Anyone need two foot-ish perfect straight grained logs? I split up this stump and it's gorgeous mulberry.

Local come get some. Need some? Send me a Priority label.

I would like to have enough for a riser
2-1/2" square over 18" long
can you resaw it?

Mark I can but my neighbor is in China who has the nice table saw. just that riser sized piece, could be long enough! I'll measure them. I have a small bandsaw though.

Is this green wood?  If so, I could use some for siyahs.  My bandsaw isn't up to cutting it though (it's mostly set up for bone, horn and antler) so I'd need some rough cuts.  If it is, PM me and I'll get with you about it.
