Here is a bow I just finished for a friend from PA. I havent been able to post pics for awhile thanks to updates on my smart phone but i may have it figured out now.
Anyway the bow is osage backed with copperhead skins and cocobola tips. The handle is just a leather strip sanded and wrapped to fit the hand. This one was hard to let go but the new owner likes it so im happy with it. Thanks for looking. (Hopefully)

The bow looks great! Would you mind giving a short how-to on the handle wrap? I've been wanting to try this style of grip.
-
Real nice looking bow.
-
Bmn. The handle wrap is fairly simple. Just cut a strip of thick high quality leather the width that you want. I make mine abiut 1 inch give or take a bit. Then i use a belt sander to sand the edges. Sand the outer 1/4 in or so down so that on the edge it is paper thin or thinner. Wrap the grip and mark long tapers for your ends. Sand them down to. Your strip now is a long parallelogram so to speak. I use contact cement on both the leather and wood and pull that sucker TIGHT as you wrap it. That and the sanded or skivved edge make the wrap look best. Tuck the very ends and your done.
-
Thanks Dave! Again, the bow looks great.
-
Looks just as good over here!
