Ever since seeing "Ausable's" Griffin with what I concluded to be waterfall bubinga, I have wanted to put some into one of my bows. It is beautiful stuff! Lots of internet searching (actually I just googled it and it came up on the first page), I found this:

A ten foot piece of lumber, ready for countless bows! It's just a little out of my price range though.
Sure is some pretty stuff!

The First custom bow that I owned had Waterfall Bubinga Veneers under clear glass. I sure miss that bow!!!! Pretty stuff is right!
That is a beautiful piece of wood!! I've seen a couple bows with waterfall veneers and they sure were gorgeous.
That sure is beautiful wood! I bet you could buy a couple pieces of it from a bowyer or maybe even a Woodcraft (http://www.woodcraft.com) store.
WOW!
I'm guessing that board is in the $4-5K range, right?
as a woodworker, I can't imagine chopping THAT board up into bow veneers. it deserves to be bookended for high end tables and such.
BEAUTIFUL WOOD
