Title: Looking For A Skilled Bow Painter
Post by: Erwincm on August 29, 2014, 11:00:00 PM
Hi guys. I'm looking for someone with exceptional painting skills, equipment, and a dust-free paint booth to apply gloss T-bird finish on my bows. I only make about 3 bows a year and lack the space, skills, and equipment to do it right. I invest about 50-60 hours of painstaking labor into each one of my bows and would like each to be finished with the same level of attention to detail as I apply to their construction. Are there any among the group capable and interested in helping me out? I would of course pay for your services.

Thanks,
Charles

do it your self
Hang some sheets up in your bow room, put a fan at the door blowing out of the room.
spray a coat, turn the fan off, come back for 2nd coat turn fan on spray 2nd coat , turn fan off ect.

You need to do everything yourself.   :bigsmyl:

I have a 12' x 20' room that I build my bows in

If you just want it finished, I think Big Jim might offer spraying services. Not certain though.

My shop is only about 10' x 14' and half of it is taken up by my other hobby gear - home winemaking :-)
