I had an extra set of Zipper limbs kicking around and no funds for a riser. My friend Robert Painter (aka twotimer) and his buddy James Kimbrell graciously offered to help me out.
Introducing the Zapper (had to call the bow aomething). 62" 51@29 Zipper limbs, Kimbrell Bubinga riser. Hurls an arrow with authority. This is the last group of five and it turned out nicely so hence the pic lol. Enjoy, I am.
Thanks Robert and James!

Sure is a good lookin bow, and a real shooter!!!!!!!!
Dave, whats all that white stuff on the ground around your target?????? I was over in SC this weekend and the trees are sprouting buds and the azaleas at the camp are opening up already. Bet you guys are ready for Spring to sprung.
Nice bow! ;)
WOW Dave, great looking and a shooter too. We got some of the white stuff last night. First this year in the part of Texas I am working in anyway. My Fiancee' said had about 4 inches at home overnight. I lived in Maine in the Mid '70's, so I do know what ya'll get up there. LOL 100" a year I do no miss. LOL
This February was one of the three snowiest in history. Turned 50 yesterday afternoon and is raining today. 2' of snow on the ground and rain. Things are getting real WET. Mud season starts soon(we don't have spring). Though the rain is supposed to switch over to snow/sleet later.
dave, thanks for the recognition, but give the credit to jame's,he did the finish work on the riser.sadly to say, james is fighing a tough battle with lung cancer now,and i am afraid it is wining.james is not a religious man,but that don't stop us from saying a prayer on his behalf.robert   :coffee:
Thanks much for lending them the bow Dave. I am sure after both of them shoot it I will get to here how much they like it. Seems to be a pattern here...1st it was my Morrison, then Tripp's Blackwidow, and I am certain it will be a Zipper next. Now I have to get them to a big shoot so they can try out more bows and start on the want lists.
I told your Dad he is welcome to keep it for as long as he wants and to save his(your? lol) money.
Nice bow David!
