You doing a little work on a glass bow? Cant believe no one else spotted this but it sure looks like a glass bow to me. :saywhat:
-
I saw it too Cory but then forgot to bring it up. It does look a whole lot like a glass bow to me. ;)
-
Hand in the cookie jar, Roy? :nono:
-
You should have got rid of the evidence Roy! :nono: ;)
Dave.
-
Uh oh someone has been busted!!!
-
sleep bowyering????haha!!
-
holy cats!!! Never noticed that!
-
My name is Roy, and I'm addicted to glass bows........
Good eye guys!!
-
Now he's got the glass addiction he's gone! no rehab facilities for it at all! :jumper: :deadhorse:
-
Maybe someone planted them? :scared:
-
Maybe he's just holding it for a friend.
-
Holy sh*** the next seal was broken  :biglaugh:
(doesn`t look too bad anyway- but recurve Roy???)
-
I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT...
I'm thinking photo bucket had a major software failure. You all know how messed up photo bucket can be? That doesn't look like my hot box.... :)
Yes I am up very early. Those damn steroid pills I am taking to control my cluster headaches have me wired up.. In bed at 9 PM and up at 3 AM sucks..
-
I'm sure it's one of those all-wood three piece longbows with a lot of reflex like LittleBen makes. Right Roy?
Cory, I like the choice of color you used for Roy's highlights...
-
Who the heck goes to bed at 9pm?
You guys wouldnt make such a big deal of that glass bow if ya knew Roy a little better. Show them your compound and crossbow pics, Roy.
;)
-
LOL Jeff...
Ok Ok, yes that is a glass recurve take down. But it hain't mine. It's my Buddys bow, we got the material from ole Kenny M about 4 months ago. But since we never made a glass take down before, we are waiting for someone who has made glass bows to come over and help him lay it out and cut it out. He doesn't want to mess it up. Ole Kenny knows about this.. :)
So if my ole buddy bowjunkie, ever decides to come visit me again, then he could lead my Buddy Denny in the right direction with the glass bow.. Ya hear me Jeff? :)
-
:biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
-
So then there was a conspiracy
:biglaugh:
-
And a cover up. :)
-
The part I really can't believe is that Kenny managed to keep from outing Roy publically for this!
It's ok Roy ... it happens to alot of guys. Sometimes it's just to rainy out for a wood bow to keep from getting wet and going limp.

Nuts...I was hoping to see an all wood take down.... :help:
-
Canopy, LMFAO..
-
Canopy, LMFAO.. Ya made me double post. :) That was a Ten. A 10... :)
-
Denial is an ugly thing roy. I don't allow glass in my hot box unless it's a pipe.
-
That was a zing canopy - what you say to that Ben?
-
LMAO. This is a good thread.
I've been saying ever since Roy got on his tri-lam kick that he's only one ingredient away from us glass guys. I think he's even been known to use smooth-on.
-
To funny.
-
....one whiff of glass dust!!!---next thing ya know...

And now we know where the clusters are coming from.
But in a way it all adds up. Started with a kabota, then a drum sander. Questions about decimals to fractions. Then all them trilams.
Just funning' with you on the clusters, I know how bad they can get.
Joe

Read my lips, Roy will not make a glass bow.. I think I won't anyways.. :)
But I do own one that I love to shoot. Bear Victor Viking take down which I bought new in the early 70's. Shoots like a rifle...

As long as she lets me keep trying ... lol
-
Geez Roy,
In bed at 9 and up at 0300 is my work schedule on the early shift..
-
So lemme get this straight .... Roy doesn't build glass bows, but the one he has, he shoots off of an elevated rest, with carbon shafts and 3" feathers?
This is the guy who scoffs at cutting shelves into wood bows .... what has the world come to.
-
That's right Benny Boy...
-
It's all good, Roy. I have a Martin Dreamcatcher that I love to shoot. If I thought that I had the skills to make a copy of it I would. Great looking Bear.
-
I had the chance to shoot a 60" or 62" martin recurve ... forget the model. and man .... it was so smooth .... great bow.
-
Love shooting my selfbows - doesn't mean I don't like shooting my glass ones too!
I bet you would make a fine glass bow Roy. I say go for it!
-
......NEXT THING YA KNOW...we all thought we could handle it too...
