i will tell you a story friend...
2012 i have joined to bow swap and some problems occurred.
firstly, i was not able to build one properly.
second, i did manage to build one but this time national post office did not accept it to ship it due to it's length.
since i did not know how to make it take down, i gave my apology to my recipent and withdrawn from the swap. since shipping it with private company was hell expansive.
then, people from gang help me a about shipping the bow and paid nearly half of the shipping cost.
finally bow was on new owner.
but, my builder already shipped the bow to someone else since i did withdrawn. so there was no bow waiting foe me to be shipped.
and Kelly joined to game one more time and told me not to worry about my swap bow he promised me that i will receive it even he has to make it one for me. year ended. next swap ended. i have received 2013 swap but there was no 2012 bow yet. i was just waiting patiently. waited waited... patience was my good ally.
then yesterday, there was a tube on my door. when i opened the box, i have seen piece of beauty, the bow named "patience".
now friend tell me, what else can this bow be named other than "patience".
thank you kelly and tradgand. i feel like i am with friends and with good people.
i loved the bow. i always wondered about osage orange bow now i have one.
pictures? hehehe... now your turn to be patience... wait for monday...
awesome! I love it. i was going to name a bow patience once (but i didn't cause i lost it haha!) yours is much more deserving of the name. :clapper:
Very cool story, Inksoup but I'm not surprised with these guys and Kelly is at the top of the heap! Can't wait to see Patience. I'll bet she's sweet.
uh... there is one more surprise of this bow. but you need to wait for the pics....
well i am not sadistic but forget my cam at the office lol....
That is a tremendous story, Beyaz! I'm glad things worked out for you.
Stan
Glad she made it there. Only one correction to that story. The person did not ever ship a bow that I know of to any one. So I did tell ink I would build one but I found out another ganger was working on a 2 piece take down that need a home. I explained the situation I had and how ink had not received yet for 2012. On Monday you will see the result.
Sorry it took so long Ink but I think from the little I shoot it it is worth the wait.
That makes us a 100% in all swaps now.
Awesome story...
Very cool - no one is forgotten - that is a good community to be a part of!
You're a good man Kelly. :readit:
Dave.
That is very cool! X 10 what Dave said ^ and looking forward to the pic's.
What a great story Ink. I can't wait to see your pictures. Hats off to TG and Kelly for all the extra effort.
Just one more reason I like the "traditional" community. I'm glad you got taken care of Ink. Can't wait to see the pics.

Wonderful and I like happy endings. Bue--. :)
Great story. Nice job Kelly!
Oh I am just the coordinator on this one. When Ink post pics it should reveal the true hero in this story. Ink get a close up of all the writing when you post pics please.

i told you she is beautiful...
there was one more string silencer at the other end but somehow it was took off so i removed it.
and one question: do you think brace height is little low? should i make some arrangements on the string?
Very nice, good job Dan..
Ink shoot some arrow through it and if you need to twist the string do so. That will raise the brace.
Man Dan she looks better then I remember.
Great story. Congrats Ink. Great job Dan.
Now there's a bow worth waiting for. Nice work Dan. :clapper:
Very nice.
Dave.
Ink, she is sweet.
Dan, You Rock.
Ink, I hoe you like it. I actually made it about 2 years ago. Was hanging on my rack waiting for some inspiration from me to decide how I wanted to finish it.
When Kelly mentioned he needed a two piece for you, I was "inspired" to finish it. Retillered it to your specs, added a handle wrap, and shot a few hundred arrows through it, applied finish and shipped.
Now I have an excuse to build another 2 piece.
Very sweet! :clapper:
Dan,
i really liked the bow. i will shoot as soon as possible. i believe she needs to be taken a walk through a mountain.
thanks again friends...
best.
Ink we do need that full draw pic.
