Been working on bows for 3 granddaughters & one other that I don't know what I'm going to do with yet. It's the first time I've done multiple builds at once. Makes me wonder how the pro's keep everything straight.
The first one for Kelsey is canary wood that I swapped Ralph Morris some fletching for. I got the best end of that deal. Thanks Ralph.
Here's a picture of all three & where they're at right now and a picture of the canary wood under clear glass and a canary wood riser with a black glass and bloodwood accent.

This one will be dyed turquoise which is what Lizzy wants. It's curly maple veneer and riser with black glass and canary wood accent.

Hailey's will be a paduk with a curly maple accent. It will have black glass limbs. Lots of fun and looking forward to shooting with the girls.

Nothing better than building one (some) for the kids. It will be something that you and they will treasure for many years. How old are your grandaughters
Kelsey & Lizzy are 17 and Hailey is 13. My wife & I had up to 9 of the grandkids at what we called Camp Grandmapa where we rented a cabin at different places. We always had archery shoots of different kinds. I'm finally getting the last three bows built, that is unless there are some new ones that want to shoot.
Awesome!!

That Canary wood is some of the best I have ever had, I had to double check the piece a few times to make sure it was not tulip wood! I am glad you will get it in the hands of some youngsters, cant wait to see the finished bow.
