I received the bow the other day and was pleased to shoot a lighter bow with my recovering elbow. First off I would like to comment on the craftsmanship. This bow was just plain nice! From the wood combinations to the horn tips. JD"s craftsmanship is top notch.
As mentioned before, the handle was a little different. But after shooting it a while, it felt pretty good. My hand slid into place everytime. The bow drew from start to finish "smooth". There was no stacking ,it was consistent the whole way back. For a light bow(weight) I was surprised of the lack of hand shock. And speed, this thing was a burner. I was jolting a 600 grain arrow with ease and it was quite fast. As far as bow noise, NONE!
I must say that this bow was a pleasure to shoot and I can forsee one in my arsenol real soon. I won't wait too long because from what I can tell, JD's going to have a bunch of orders once people get there hands on this bow. Thanks again JD.
BTW-heres a pic of a field trial I conducted :goldtooth:Every bow needs a name and I named this one "Bunny Buster"( at least to me) hence the picture.I'll be shipping the bow to the next person Monday....Mike

Nice bunny and a great bow. Better get your order in soon, I have a feeling JD's gonna be a busy feller this spring and summer :clapper:
Glad I got mine when I did !!
cANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JD is building a bow a day on average to keep up. Along with a full time job and a family. He loves building bows and hearing all the good things people are saying about his workmanship. He was going home to finish a couple more tonight after our little bunny hunt this morning. He builds a mean bow.
I'm getting anxious. Sounds great.
:clapper: :clapper: Nice shot too,,J

Nice bunnies!!! I have them getting put on the trophy page of my website. Keep it up guys. Lets keep my web site guy busy with updates. JD
I'm hoping to get my hands on one of these bows, but looking at the line, it will be at least this summer. What's that old saying? "Good things come to those who wait."
I signed up for this demo and I think I made the cut off. Where is the bow now and who is shipping it to me. I want to make sure I know when to watch for the mailman, LOL.
You guys are killing me. Can't wait to go through the tuning process.
Bow went out to Jim Matthews in Bolivar, Ohio on Monday the 3rd.
Just got the bow today. Nice looking bow. My hand fits right into the hand grip. I was shooting some 30" 2016's with 145gr up front into my target as soon as I got the bow out of the box. The bow is real quiet with the fur silencers. Seems pretty fast too. Also very light weight. Over all very nice bow. I'm going to shoot it a few days and I'll send it out to the next person by weeks end. Great job JD, thanks for letting us share the Mojo stick. :clapper:
