Would this happen to be the other half of the pole bow? Looks reflexed, recurved & sinewed. I still have an 8' pole waiting for me to work on it and i can tell you I'll be referring to your pole trade bow from last year for reference. That one turned out great.
This was my original pole bow that cracked across the back because of the high crown and the 6" of reflex it took while drying. Too much stress down the center of the back. The crack only went through one sapwood ring. It was originally 66"t/t and pulled about 55#@26". It is now 57"t/t with 2 thick layers of cow leg sinew I added in mid July and is starting out with
4 3/4" of sinew induced reflex.
