I am thinking that a possibles bag for all my stuff would be much preferable to using every pocket and pouch that I have on my hunting clothes. I even spent a few embarrassing minutes in a Goodwill store the other day checking out women's purses hoping to find something close to what I want to try before I spent money on good leather. Labs4me. your bag in your response to Gapmaster's post about back quivers looks to be very much like what I think I would like to end up with. So if anyone would care to save me further embarrasment at Goodwill and has a minute or two, I would really appreciate some pics.....inside and out....of your favorite possibles bags. use a cat quiver 2 for all my stuff and it holds arrows well too
I would second a cat quiver.
Never used them for bow hunting. I just use a fanny pak I purchased from Cabelas.
I do own four possibles bags that were hand made copies of originals from the late 1700's to the mid 1800's. I use them when out and about with my muzzleloaders. If your not concerned with being PC and want a nice well made bag that should last forever check out the following link.

A few shots of my possibles bag. It is made of elk hide and is close to twenty years new. In addition to the small pocket on the front of the bag, the inside of the bag has four separate compartments; one of which always holds a small, waterproof writing tablet, a pen, compass, and a reduced aerial photo of my hunting area. In another, I always leave four folding tree steps and a folding saw (four steps and a few branches will typically get me to hunting height). On one side of the inside of the bag, there is a sleeve that holds a mini-mag flashlight in place. The bottom of the bag has four very strong integrated leather "hoops" which I can use to thread extra long leather laces through to hold a rolled up wool sweater, vest or rain gear in place.
Above all else, I really enjoy my possibles bag for pre/post season scouting; preseason stand preparation and when tracking deer. For many years, I have kept a Schrade model 152 skinner in the sheath on the (out)side of the bag. Just recently, I had Sticshooter make me a nice skinner with an osage handle.

I use a $5.00 gas mask bag from an army surplus store. I made the strap a little longer. works for bowhunting and black powder.
in my (http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii152/jacobsladdergrice/quiver.jpg) opinion this is one of the best set ups going.... there is a inside pocket and outside pocket with a flap... the quiver is very quiet and secure...this made by german ridge quivers......

I've got a couple possibles bags that I carry when I'm hunting. I've had fanny packs but I much prefer a shoulder bag for easy access.

the bag on the right was a gift from Squrriel Bait, i wear it often. also wear a small hacersack a lot. you will be amazed at what ya can fit in a small bag, they ride well and ya don't even know they are there.

It's not mine, but I just saw it recently and really liked it, it is hairy bison on the outside, deer on the inside, hand stitched. Scrimshaw on the pendent, knife sheath built onto the strap.
