Over the last 2 years I have been buying arrows
" all Carbon" testing/ tuning them using the one bare shaft method on the ACS site.
I have gotten the Gold Tip 350 heritage to tune very well at 15 and 20 yards shooting one fletched arrow at the center of the target then shooting a non fletched arrow and the same target point. I got the arrow to go slightly right and Slightly down. this is a good test for tuning arrows I beleive. and gives the best flight for that arrow/ bow matching
The problem is that this arrow weight is 550 to 560 gr .
I have added tip weight 25 gr , weight tubes, " weakens spine" and also tried pcp tip weights that screw into the back of the insert at the tip.
All of these had a negative impact on the arrow. showing I need to increse spine
I have tried 5 mgf of arrows all with the same issues.
One last one is the Big Game 100's there spine is about 20 stiffer than the Heritage 350's.
is there a way to add arrow weight with out decresing spine???????

If im not mistaken Gold tip makes a weight system that alows you to add weight to the front and back of an arrow. You should be able to add the same amount of weight to the front and back and not change spine. I have not tried this maybe someone who has will chime in.
You can also go to aluminum and you wont have a weight problem. I would give a 2219 a try

Now I just need to fund a 50 to 100 gr nock weight
Adding weight tubes to the inside of the arrow should not change spine at all. Try the aquarium tubing or buy the tubes for the arrows.
We added nearly 100 gr to a customers arrows one day using the tubing and they shot perfect.

I think you meant "Carbon Express" when refering to the 350 Heritage. Gold Tip makes the "Traditional" in 3555, 5575, and 7595.
I'd agree with the recommendation of using the nock adapters to add weight to the rear of the arrow as well as the front.

Just remember! if you add 20gn in the nock end, you have to add aprox. 60gn in the front to get the same"spine"

Like Henkel......adding weight to the nock end is not a good idea. Why are you making it so complicated? Increase your tip weight and just trim your arrow shaft according to keep the same spine. There will be sufficient net gain in weight even though you're trimming your shaft shorter.
Also...not a fan of weight tubes. The weight tubes will not have any affect on static spine but it will affect dynamic spine which will affect flight.

THis last year I used rope inside my arrows, and they flew great. I shoot about as much weight as you do, my arrows were full length easton Epic 300s, with 275 grains up front. If I remember correctly, the rope added about 75 grains or so, and you dont have the annoying problem of blowing off your nocks when you hit something hard like you do with the tube inserts. If I remember correctly, I used either 3/16 or 1/4 inch nylon wrapped rope for mine.

Brett. Adding weigt to goldtips works great for me. I like to shoot wood and carbons,the woodies are tapeded cedars 64# with pointadapter, 570gn
and goldtip 35-55 with weigt front and rear, 570gn,
same balance, same point of impact, they fly like a dream out of my PLGA 50#

If you are able, and it is a BIG if, going more center shot will also do what you want. I've done it to any number of bows, but don't undertake it if your weak of heart and not steady of hand.
Shoot the Big game that is 20#s stiffer and just add another 100 grains of point weight to bring the spine down to the 350 spine ya want. Shawn
