Maybe some of you guys can share some pictures of your favorite back quivers. I would like to see them and know where you got them and what it is about them that you like. I'm not so sure I'm really happy with mine so I am looking to get a new one. Thanks, Gapmaster
I hope I didn't post this in the wrong place. If admin wants it moved I understand. Thanks, Gapmaster
I bought mine from MAL. Mike is a sponsor on this site and a heck of a good guy to boot. His quivers hang just right to allow quick access to your arrows without having to fumble for them.

He also has great youth quivers

Here's another one from Mike's Archery Leather. Everything Stone Knife said is true. Not to mention, Mike really goes the extra mile to make sure you get what you want.
I ordered a matching arm guard with mine, and was also surprised to find 2 matching string keepers in the pouch of the quiver.

Treated once or twice a year with a quality leather conditioner, a well made back quiver will stand up to a lifetime (or two) of abuse. In addition to keeping my arrows right where I like 'em, this one has also been used as a possibles bag, a ground cushion, a dog-training gear bag and even a game bag. It's been used, abused and enjoyed for coming up on twenty years and only gets better with age.

PLEASE edit yer images to no wider than 640 pixels, thank you.
I made this one. I like it because it conforms to my back and stays put pretty well.

This one is my second attempt.

The next one I will combine features from each one that I like. I also acquired an old leather quiver that is falling apart. I am thinking of using it for a pattern.
Snag I really like the top one. Looks great!
I agree with TJ, snag the top one looks comfy!

Keith,
Our quivers are out of the same mold. Just a suggestion: To enhance the durability/longevity of your quiver, consider glueing a nice, thick piece of leather to the inside bottom of your quiver.
and my favorite quiver I end up selling (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/razorbak1/Bows1/Apr2209.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v78/razorbak1/Bows1/?action=view¤t=Apr2209.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/razorbak1/Bows1/Jul3102.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v78/razorbak1/Bows1/?action=view¤t=Jul3102.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/razorbak1/Bows1/Apr2226.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v78/razorbak1/Bows1/?action=view¤t=Apr2226.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/razorbak1/Bows1/Apr2224.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v78/razorbak1/Bows1/?action=view¤t=Apr2224.jpg)

Man, all you guys did some great looking work. You guys are very talanted. All of them are very nice. I'm really impressed. I was pretty sold on buying one, but now I'm thinking maybe I could make one too. Not sure. I never did leather work before. I wonder if it's cheaper to make one, or is the cost of material to high and maybe cheaper to just buy what I'm looking for? So, if I was going to attempt this is there a pattern or a set of plans located someplace I could use? I question myself sometimes. :) All you guys would have had a good laugh watching how long it took me to make my 5 and 11 degree arrow tapering guides for my sander. It took almost a whole Saturday before I was convinced I had it right. Maybe I could get a quiver done in say about 6 months? :)30 years in archery and I still don't have it all right. :) Thanks, Gapmaster
