My Dad and I have made several recurves out of action wood. Now I am looking to make a glass laminate longbow. I am going to use curly Bubinga for the limbs but I am trying to decide what would go well for the riser. The riser is going to be a somewhat traditional longbow grip. What woods do you guys recommend.
I think a dark riser like wenge would be a.great combo with the bubinga
Second on the wenge and Bub. It does turn out nice. Ive done that combo
