Title: finally done did it!
Post by: Beanbag on January 28, 2013, 05:10:00 PM
I have been tracking here for awhile now. Finally got around to doing up a set of limbs after doing a lot of learning here. Any input will be good. The sander is from harbor freight with a piece of 6" channel for tappering lams. Still working on a jig for cutting tappered lams Thks Kenny G for your posts. Also my first jig with a hose for curing.    Thanks Jim g

Good ingenuity!  You may want to add some sort of hold-downs or featherboards to make sure the material is held consistently against your fence.  It will also be safer for you when feeding the stock into it.

You're reading my mind ef. I have a couple of ideas going on right now, to clean up my lams. Just finished up a set of limbs today, getting excited with what I'll be doing next.Any thoughts??? Jim G

Roy it's #6852 on sale for 199.00. Was kind of hard to pass on with the price. Might not last as long as a better brand so we'll see.
