Tim lives 30 miles south of me.  I've said it before, but I figure he's equal parts artist, engineer, and shaman.  His bows are something special.

Last year I was down visiting him at his shop, and we brainstormed a Prairie Swift for me.  He had a beautiful piece of Bocote in the shop that he figured would make a unique bow.  Who was I to argue?   :D

It turned out gorgeous, Boctote riser with back & belly veneers cut from the same piece the riser was made from.  It's 55#@29" & plenty fast (182FPS with a 525 grain arrow), and by far my smoothest and quietest bow.

Also have one of his early design TD recurves, 62" 51#@29".  Nice slim grip, smooth & sweet.

Just emailed him tonight, going to head down there in the near future and see about having him build me a TFX TD...

I have a Prairie Fire.  It's a good bow, nice finish, smooth draw and decent speed all for a decent price ($500).

They are very nice bows, would consider one for my next bow.

Kota Kid, have you been out to the Sandhills Archers for Trad night on mondays?

Buddy of mine has a prairie swift.  Excellent bow.  It would have been mine, but the vendor handed it to him first !   ;)    Think I may end up with one sooner rather than later.

Here it is with his first bear. 07' season.
Green Dymandwood with bamboo limbs, 67@28 and he draws an honest 30".....heck of a shooter.

I live NE of Devils Lake so I rarely get down to Fargo.  Just shoot on my own range and stump around my farmstead...

Yup. Kota Killum, birdseye maple limbs and bocote riser. Nice bow, very smooth and quiet. It's not cut to center, so arrow tuning is critical. Once that is done, it shoots great.

I like mine a lot...and I'm going to get very close to it this spring by close I mean with a turkey.  Bacote and Birds-eye.

I've only shot it a limited amount but it shoots where I look...sometimes I wish I was looking more at the bullseye but when I do it shoots some very consistent groups.

I have a chrono but haven't got it out yet to test it.

30coupe...like your bow a lot.

Talked to Tim a while back and he has some dark Myrtle that I may look into for a longbow.
