Anyone have a good design for one?
Joe I'll try to send pics of the shaving horse shortly. I got busy the other day and didn't get the pics taken.

See the Fall 2005 issue of The Bowyers Journal. Complete plans with instructions, it was simple and it works great. It's not quite as crafty/fancy as the one above, but it works.
Josh that is awesome bench!
Here are two I made earlier this winter:

I didn't use any plans, just looked at several on the internet, and then made them to fit my body size with old timbers I had in the shop. I think I have a total of five or six dollars into each of them.
Just got back from Walt's and I can attest to the workability of his benches. They work great!!! Try them out.
Thanks, now I have to decide which one I want to build.
Well, here's the bench that I made this weekend, Bill G., thanks for the magazine.
Josh, I liked your bench very much...if I make another one, I make one just like yours.

There are schematics-plans for a shave horse in the May issue of American Woodworker magazine. Looks like it would work very well.
