Awesome work Kenny...your going to have to show us how you did the arrow inlay sometime.

Sweet looking bow Kenny, for a great cause. :clapper:
I am with Brad you just got to show us how to do the inlay. Really nice bow hope it brings a huge price.
Thanks guys!!
The arrow shaft was easy, set the blank down on the tablesaw blade, then flipped it over and repeated to get centered. Took a couple goes to get right width, a router table woulda made it a cakewalk!
The fletching and head I cut in the lam blank with a scrollsaw and fitted the wood pieces in in with a sander after roughing in with a bandsaw.
The fletches weren't too hard, but on the head, I'm wondering if you could put a pc of tape on one side and pour epoxy mixed with food coloring in to get a tighter fit? Wonder what the epoxy would do when cut and ground?
Outstanding Kenny!!!
you make it sound easy! guess one would have to make really sure the lay up was really centered and keeping it centered after marking out and cutting out to shape.Gotta router table , have to try before long, guess I can only stuff up a lam at worst.
Great looking bow Kenny!
Nice bow Kenny! Hope it goes high.
Great looker! Riser is stunning. :clapper:
WOW!!! Kenny, beautiful as always....Dan
Outstanding....I suppose I never would have thought of doing it that way. Great results.
I think if mixed epoxy, dye and some sawdust for the head, and then pour it in... it would work just fine.
Thanks guys, thats what I'm thinkin for the next one Brad, hmmm swirly stone look????
Some nat barred feathers by drizzling some black dye in...
Possibilities are endless!! LOL
Good looking bow Kenny.
Those lams came a few days ago but I been so busy with the kids I haven't even opened the box. I'll check them out tomorrow or friday and send you a check.
WOW!!!!!What more can i say...
